Mizuno Wave Rider Waveknit 3 Running Shoes
Keeping the feet at a comfortable temperature no matter what time of the year it is, the Mizuno Wave Rider Waveknit 3 Running Shoes combine an extremely breathable upper with a highly technical midsole, using technologies for unrivalled responsiveness.
Allowing a constant flow of air in and out of it, the mesh on the upper encourages a constant flow to work to maintain the temperature within the shoes. As you begin to exercise, the surface of the skin warms, and as a result of this, the air within the shoes is warmed up. This air is able to escape instantly, where it is then replaced by cooler air from outside the shoe. This will work continually to bring fresh and cool air to the feet for a comfortable feel over a long period of time. This will also make the shoes ideal for any time of year, as your feet will always be in exceptional comfort. As you begin to swear, the material will react to this by wicking the moisture out of it and away. By doing this, the feet are kept in a cool and comfortable climate. The upper is able to stretch, which will make each step more responsive whilst also tailoring the fit to feel personalised. Firmer material surrounds vulnerable areas like the toes and the heel, providing protection from any bumps or knocks. Easy to secure laces and a soft padded tongue and ankle collar will allow you to find a comfortable and personalised fit with a reduced risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing.
Wave technology resides in the midsole to provide exceptional cushioning and comfort, thus improving responsiveness and feel. Wave is also a unique technology which delivers cushioning and stability, adding resilience to comfort. U4ic is a unique midsole compound that rides and cushions like Mizuno's AP+ midsole but is approximately 30% lighter without any loss of comfort or performance. Similarly, U4icx delivers a more comfortable cushioned ride with higher rebound, ensuring the most comfortable, energised ride.
Also operating in the midsole is SmoothRide, which provides an engineering approach to minimise the rapid acceleration and deceleration of the foot during transition, creating the smoothest ride possible. Finally, Mizuno Intercool is a full-length midsole ventilation system reduces heat and humidity build-up inside the footwear. This helps to improve the atmosphere when running, lessening the distraction or discomfort provided by hot air.
X10 is the most durable carbon rubber that allows for longer wear in high impact areas and supplements traction at heel strike. This helps to lessen the impact placed on the knees and joints, allowing for a more comfortable ride as well as optimising gait efficiency. Also, the outsole ensures maximum grip and traction for a firm, assured footing so you can run with confidence and push yourself to the limit, time and time again.
